I built TAccountZone because accounting education tools haven’t kept up with how people actually learn.

Textbooks show T-accounts — debits on the left, credits on the right, double entry as a visual system. Then students open software and find spreadsheets, pivot tables, and dashboards. The T-account disappears. The connection between the theory and the tool is lost.

TAccountZone is that connection. It’s accounting software that looks like the accounting you learned. Every journal entry displays as a proper T-account. The balances stay visible. The double-entry logic is part of the interface, not hidden behind it.

I’m a solo developer. I built this for myself first — I needed a clean, private tool for bookkeeping that worked the way I think about accounts. Then I realised students and educators needed it too.

TAccountZone is local-first software. Your data lives on your device. I have no database of your ledgers. This is a deliberate choice: financial data is personal, and you shouldn’t have to trust a startup with it.
